Tony Krew - Vocals, Accordion, Sound and Lighting Engineer
Leader and originator of the Krew Brothers Band, and now The Music Krew, Tony was part of the award winning recording artists that toured the country to rave reviews with their legacy of traditional music. He has over thirty-five years of experience playing weddings, holiday parties and corporate events.
Joanne Eckert - Lead Vocals
Joanne brings plenty of vocal versatility and experience to The Music Krew. Her vocal roots originated in musical theatre and statewide vocal competitions. While studying at the University of Buffalo, she performed in productions at Shea's Performing Arts Theatre. Joanne continued her career singing with many award winning Western New York bands. Over the past couple decades her singing style has been and continues to be an asset to the local entertainment scene.
Rick Keller - Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Vocals
Rick holds both bachelor and master degrees in Music Education from the University at Buffalo. While there he studied and attended classes with several accomplished trumpet players, including Randy Brecker and Alan Vizutti. His tremendous resume includes performing with the Amherst and Cheektowaga Symphonies as well as some of the area's finest groups: Pyramid Dance Band, Starlight Dance Band, JJ Swing, Urban Renewal, Joyryde, Chicago Horns, and Lance Diamond.
Russ Carere - Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Lead and Rhythm Guitar
A very talented musician, Russ performed in professional theatre and musicals soon after high school. He studied at SUNY Fredonia and later was a permanent member of the Amherst Saxophone Quartet for over ten years. Russ composed thirteen works for the ASQ and also released his own solo CD of original jazz compositions. He has performed and toured with a long list of entertainers including Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, The Spinners, The Temptations, Buffalo Philharmonic, and Artpark Orchestra.
Lew Reczek - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Lew is an extraordinary musical talent and music educator, teaching in Western New York for over twenty years. His background includes working with several top area bands since the 1980's. He is a quality player and versed in several styles of music - enjoyable to listen to and even more fun to watch.
Art Lutz - Piano, Keyboards, Vocals
Art is a gifted musician who has traveled extensively throughout the United States as a member of Tommy Dorsey's Big Band Orchestra. He also has years of experience in the Western New York area performing on the wedding circuit with the "New York Transfer" and "Arthur's Court." Add Art's lead vocal abilities to the mix and you truly have one of the area's finest entertainers.
Anthony Krew - Drums, Percussion, Vocals, Master of Ceremonies
Anthony has been a mainstay of the Krew Brothers Band for over twenty years. A percussionist with style, he is a protégé of some of the best drummers in the business. Whether it's a tender ballad, light swing, or good old-fashioned rock and roll, Anthony provides a solid beat to help keep the music flowing and the dance floor packed.
